Clinical features of intestinal multiple helminthiasis in children
Clinical and laboratory data of 174 children with multiple helminthiasis (ascariasis + enterobiasis - 152, ascariasis trichuriasis – 14, enterobiasis+ trichuriasis - 8) between the ages of 2 to 15 years were analyzed. The results showed that multiple helminthiasis in children characterized by severe allergic reactions and diseases (71,3%), functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract (73,7%), abdominal pain (40%), sleeplessness (66.4%) and disturbances of appetite (53.3%).
