PREVALENCE OF COMPLICATED FORMS OF DIABETIC FOOT SYNDROME IN THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN

This paper presents the results of study of 3608 case histories of patients with complicated forms of diabetic foot syndrome (CF DFS), hospitalized during 2010-2014 at specialized departments of CKH №3, CMS in Dushanbe and «DFS» in Sughd Regional Hospital.

The analysis showed that the frequency of DFS occurrence take the first place in the structure of hospital morbidity in purulent surgery and have a clear upward trend in number of patients required in surgery.

Most of the patients (n=2767; 76,7%) admitted to hospital with severe clinical signs of the disease and hyperglycemia from 8,8 to 21 mmol / L, while 64 (1,8%) patients hyperglycemia accompanied by glycosuria up to 4-6% .

From 3608 patients with CF DFS, the majority of patients had3 degree of DFS (n = 1775; 49,2%), 4 degree - 1284 (35,6%) and 2 degree - 548 (15,2%) patients.

Among hospitalized patients with CF DFS are dominated mixed form of disease (n = 2049; 56,7%), infectious neuropathic type of the affected limb was detected in 1434 (39,7%), ischemic type of lesions - in 125 (3,6% ) patients.
