Non-pharmacological technologies of correction psychoemotional disorders in irritable bowel syndrome

The authors have developed a method of non-pharmacological correction of psychosomatic and gastrointestinal disturbances in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with comprehensive application of drinking mineral waters of Zheleznovodsk type, mineral baths and dynamic electroneurostim-ulation.

The summation of positive therapeutic effects after using natural and preformed medicinal fac-tors contribute to activation of sanogenetic and adaptation processes, leads to a significant in-crease in the overall efficiency of resort treatment for patients with IBS. When only balneothera-py is used treatment efficacy is reduced by almost 1.5 times.
