Feature of clinical course of osteoarthrosis in elderly and senile patients

The article presents the results of a study 120 patients with osteoarthritis (OA), treated in Rheumatology department of City Clinical Hospital №5 named after K.T. Tajiev (Dushanbe) for the period 2013 - 2014. In elderly and senile patients are revealed some features of articular lesions in osteoarthritis that is characterized by increasing of generalized form, which affects women mainly: ratio of male before 59 years to female is 1:2, and in the age group ≥75 years is 1:5, respectively. Polymorbidityis also typical in these age groups especially up to 59 years the number of identified comorbidities is 2,9±1,5, and in persons over 75 years - this figure is equal to 4,7±2,5.
