In order to assess neuropsychic development (NPD) were examined 120 infants who were di-vided into 3 groups in dependence on feeding type: I group - children who were breastfed, II group - a mixed and group III - on the artificial feeding. Questionnaire survey of mothers found that among children in group I the proportion of children who had age-appropriate development was 92,5%; moderate delay – 5,0% of children and delay of NPD had only 2,5% of infants. In children from group III noted the delay of NPD in 12,5% of cases (p<0,05), which manifests it-self in the reduction of cognitive, speech, motor, sensory and emotional development. The pro-portion of children with normal levels of the NPD decrease din 80%. Timely evaluation of iden-tified NPD violations children will allow to implement a set of corrective and preventive measures aimed at preventing deeper violations of psychic in child.
