In order to improve the quality of diagnosis the mechanism of bone fracture in traffic injuries by X-ray the signs of fractures that represent the basic mechanisms of their formationare studied

from the literature, as well as radiological signs of fractures. It is found that the morphology of the fracture on the radiograph includes a line of fracture on the bone surface and the direction of fracture. Major serration broken line of fracture on the surface of the bone indicates compression, minor serration - a distortion of bone tissue. The direction of breaking (at an sharp or right angle to the bone surface) can be determined by the fracture line extending in the cortical and cancellous bone layer as well to determine the presence of compression or distortion of bone tissue. In the literature there are no data on the use of X-ray finding of bone fragments in the diagnosis of the mechanism of injury.

Keywords: transport trauma, bone fractures X-ray diagnostics of fracture, diagnostics mechanism of injury.
