Effectiveness of intravenous laser irradiation of blood in complex treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease combined with gastroesophageal reflux disease

The paper presents the results of examination 83 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in combination with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Patients from first group after treatment showed improvement of symptoms: connection meals intakingwith chest pain - by 7,6% (p<0,001), heartburn – 9,6% (p<0,001), cough – by 11.5% (p<0,001), shortness of breath - by 7,6% (p<0.001), asthma – 7,6% (p<0,001).
In patients of the second group after treatment showed improvement of symptoms: heartburn - by 29,0% (p<0,001), communication meal intake with chest pain - by 19,3% (p<0,001), asthma – 25,8% (p<0,001), cough – 25,8% (p<0,001), shortness of breath – by 22,5% (p<0,001).
Positive dynamics in treatment is observed in patients taking omeprazole Doprokin with marked reduction in cough – 100%, shortness of breath – by 7,1%, heartburn - by 3,5%. Comprehensive treatment including intravenous irradiation of blood increases the effectiveness of therapy by 12%.
