Abuali ibni Sino (Avicenna) is an outstanding thinker of the East and one of the founders of medicine, pharmacology, pharmacopoeia and pharmaceutical chemistry. Genial thinker left for posterity the rich legacy spanning more than twenty branches of medieval science, including in the field of natural science.

Expressing the progressive tendencies of his time. Abuali ibni Sino under oppression theology sought to revive interest in the study of nature, to revitalize research creative thinking critically reworked earlier achievements of science, systematized and developed them further.

In his studies, he attached great importance to the experience, practice, method, objective observation of facts.

Outstanding scientific achievements of Avicenna in medicine and pharmacology related to his deep and broad knowledge of the chemical nature of the compounds of organic and inorganic origin, as well as the main methods of their interacting. This allowed him to learn the secrets of preparing of many medicines.
