Triggers of mycetogenous infection growth in women with inflammatory gynecological diseases

In the article the results of study 229 women with inflammatory and fungal pathologies of female genitalia to identify mycetogenous infectionfactors are reflected.

The study found that the duration of inflammatory gynecological pathology over 2 years and women over the age of 35 years, the hot climatic conditions, excessive sweating of body, national dress features, stay and long-term work in damp and moist conditions, the regular use of corticosteroids, the presence of extragenital fungal diseases, treatment with antibacterial drugs are the most favorable factors for the fungi growth in the body.

Comparative analysis of antimycotictherapy in 72 women with drugs of different groups showed that Nystatin was effective in 5.5% of cases and it can be recommended only for an initial course of therapy or prophylaxis of mycotic infections or mycotic contamination. The most effective (68.0% and 83.3%) for the treatment of mycotic infections are imidazole derivatives (Nizoral and Triazole - Diflucan, Diflazon, Itraconazole).
