Medical rehabilitation patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in condition of health resort «Shifo»

The authors have analyzed the results of 70 medical rehabilitation of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in the condition of health resort «Shifo.» With that purpose in the complex treatment of patients with COPD were included non-pharmacological methods of physical rehabilitation and speleotherapy, which was held in a special speleoclimatic chamber. Provided complex therapy with an anti-inflammatory action has contributed as improving results of treatment of patients with COPD, as the functional state of the respiratory system and the psychological state of patients.
