S.I. Nazarova

Carrying samples for glucose tolerance in 450 pregnant women with risk factors for gestational diabetes (GDM) in the period 24–28 weeks revealed the presence of this pathology in 73 patients (16,2±1,7%). The most common risk factors for GDM were: age over 30 years (93,1±2,9%), obesity (65,7±5,5%), burdened obstetrical history (43,8±5,8%) and big fetus (42,5±5,8%). At 38,3±5,7% of the newborns of mothers with GDM had evidence diabetic fetopathya, at 23,3±4,9% – intrauterine infection, with 12,3±3,8% – respiratory distress syndrome. Perinatal mortality among babies of mothers with GDM was 27,4‰.
