Our clinical studies of periodontal tissue showed that 200 patients with hypertension in all age groups in 180 patients revealed periodontal pathology. In many respects there is a significant pathomorphological and physiological changes in periodontal tissues. This category of patients with essential hypertension and signs of periodontitis were significant edema, cyanotic color of the gingival margin, friability papilla, retraction gums, tooth mobility, abundant over and subgingival dental ассummulation, periodontal pockets in places with purulent discharge. All this necessitates the development of a differentiated approach in the dental rehabilitation of such patients. These data indicate an association of periodontal disease with hypertension.
