Many researchers studied the patterns of metastasis majority of malignant tumors of the head and neck, began to offer alternatives sparing surgery. Designation the levels of lymph nodes of the neck based on ultrasound, CT, MRT, operations and diagnostic protocols excludes diagnostic and tactical mistakes, it has clinical significance, can more accurately determine the location of metastases, does not reduce the radicalism of operation, simplifies the definition of neck dissection, and has prognostic value. The authors suggest the use of this classification in clinical practice, taking into account small changes.
