SOME ASPECTS OF ENDOSCOPIC COLORECTAL CANCER SCREENING IN KAZAKHSTAN

In this report the author evaluated the effectiveness of screening programs for the diagnosis of colorectal cancer among people aged 50 to 70 years for the period 2015 for the regions of Kazakhstan. In addition, it reflected the author’s vision of optimization of endoscopic screening service.

On the basis of the survey the identifying percentage of precancerous and cancerous diseases at large intestine in the Republic of Kazakhstan was 4.5%, which in absolute terms corresponds to 471 patients.

The efficacy of endoscopic screening programs aimed at identifying cancer pathology, enhanced detection of a large number of patients with precancerous and benign pathology, it has an extremely important medical and social importance, and should be achieved by the efficient work of experts of all parts of health care.

To improve the performance of endoscopic screening services it is necessary to introduct of appropriate patient selection regulated criteria for colonoscopy, specialized programs data entry and subsequent statistical analysis.
