DIAGNOSIS AND MANAGEMENT OF ACUTE PARAPANCREATITIS

The article analyzes the results of a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of 64 patients with acute destructive pancreatitis and spread parapancreatitis. The cause of the disease were pathology of the biliary system in 35 (54,5%) cases, in 24 (37,5%) – alcohol reception and in 5 (8,0%) – post-traumatic pancreatitis. For early diagnosis of acute parapancreatitis very effective were the examine of indicators of endotoxemia markers C-reactive protein and IL-6, as well as conducting CT.

Treatment of differentiated surgical approach requires, in particular, the use of minimally invasive and mini-laparotomyprocedures integrated with conservative therapy, allowing to reduce substantially the complications incidence from 40% to 18,2%, and deaths – from 20,0% to 6,8%.
