Integrated rehabilitation of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

To study the possibilities of rehabilitation spa therapy using dry air of radon baths byconcentra-tion 40 nKi/l according to standard procedures, health path on an individual program of physio-therapy on basic therapy by long-acting bronchodilator (tiotropium bromide) were examined 184 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) moderate degree. The clinical effi-cacy of the proposed methods, confirmed by decreased activity of inflammation in the bronchi, the improvement of clinical, biochemical, immunological and spirometry, allows us to recommend the proposed complex in programs of secondary prevention and rehabilitation of patients with COPD.
