Clinical features of hyperprolactinemia in iodine deficiency diseases

To study the clinical features of hyperprolactinemiain iodine deficiency diseases 136 infertile women with hyperprolactinemiawere examined. At the initial stage of hyperprolactinemiathe menstrual cycle disorders occurs in the form of inadequate luteal phase. With the subsequent progression of the disease oligomenorrheaoccurs in 57,3% and anovulation – in 26,5% of cases. In iodine deficiency and lack of timely treatment of the underlying thyroid disease in women with infertility hyperprolactinemiaoccurs 2 times more often disturbing compensatory mechanisms of menstrual and reproductive system.
