The review of literature presented modern approaches to the diagnosis of renal dysfunction, risk assessment of terminal chronic renal failure (CRF) against the background of chronic kidney diseases, given the current standard terminology for describing the kidneys function.

Enlightened the stages of treatment chronic renal failure, problems of renal -replacement therapy of terminal renal failure, as in chronic hemodialysis and kidney transplantation. Analyzed the incidence of cardiovascular complications (CVC), noted the relevance of predictors study of different geometric patterns of left ventricular hypertrophy, myocardial ischemia and the reversibility degree of the hemodynamic changes in relationship with the stages of treatment and frequency of CVC in patients with terminal renal failure, including before and after kidney transplantation.
