In this paper the possibility of developing acute renal failure in young children with acute pneumonia due to occurrence of dysdiemorrhysis syndrome in the renal parenchyma was presented. Thus, oliguria was observed in the majority of patients (95%). Urine specific gravity in all cases (100%) was lower than 1010 (1007,0 ± 16,3). Creatinine (0,151 ± 0,007 mmol / l) and the potassium concentration (5,7 ± 0,11 mmol / l) in serum were significantly higher than the normal values.

With etiopathogenetic therapy directed to correction of water-electrolytic balance fluid, alkalizing effect and forcing diuresis in short time the manifestations of main disease and restoration of renal function are occured.

Keywords: pneumonia, acute renal failure, oliguria, water-electrolytic balance, creatinemia.
