Complications of complex treatment of early breast cancer

Completed analysis of complications of combined treatment of 123 patients with early breast cancer who have received treatment in the amount of sector resection with lymphadenectomy, and the subsequent appointment of adjuvant chemoradio-therapy in a variety of ways.

The most common postoperative complications were wound infection (18.7%) and lengthy lymphorrhagia (18.7%).

Complications after adjuvant radiation therapy occurred in 46.3% of patients with breast cancer in analyzing group. Predominant were erythema (31.7%) and dry epidermitis (8.9%).

Patients who are got treatment with adjuvant concurrent chemoradiotherapy, the amount of radiation reactions was significantly higher than in the first and third groups (p <0.05).

Side effects associated with adjuvant chemotherapy were observed in 87.8% of cases. Hematologic

toxicity was detected in 82 (66.7%) of 123 patients treated with chemotherapy
