Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with Children’s Dentistry of Avicenna TSMU
For improving the results of local treatment 62 patients with purulent-inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region with different etiology and localization has applied modified bandaging materials in conjunction with combined chemotherapeutic agents targeting focused on individual phases of wound process. The effectiveness of treatment was assessed by clinical, cytological and bacteriological methods.
Found that using suggested combination of chemotherapeutic agents cleaning wound in phase of inflammation is occurred in 1.5-2 times faster than in the local treatment by traditional preparations, and in a phase of regeneration and epithelialization allowed to accelerate for 1.5 times reparative processes in the wound that has greatly improved the aesthetic results of treatment and reduce the hospitalization length for 3,6-5,4 day
