Comparative analysis of some traditional and endoscopic methods of removing large ureteral stones with combine operations
The results of open ureterolithotomy, contact ureterolithotripsy and retroperitoneoscopic ureterolithotomy for the treatment of 96 patients with ureteral stones of varying localization and sizes more than 1.5 cm were presented.
The authors note the high efficiency of retroperitoneoscopic ureterolithotomy compared to traditional methods of ureterolithiasis therapy. The minimal surgical trauma provided by this operation, and a good cosmetic result can well use to remove large stones of ureter and simultaneous removal of nephroptosis, excision of renal cysts.
