F.I. Odinayev, N.M. Navdzhuanov, V.I. Ioshina, Sh.F. Odinayev

In the review authors presents current approaches to prevention of coronary heart disease based on the preclinical diagnosis of the most likely predictors of cardiac events (sudden death, myocardial infarction, arrhythmias and conduction of the heart). As a possible criterion could be used instrumental methods (ECG, echocardiography, exercise testing, stress-echocardiography) and laboratorybiochemical diagnosis (indices of coagulation and fibrinolytic systems of blood lipid peroxidation, antioxidant defense system, kallikrein-kinin system). Among the highly informative diagnostic methods ultrasound, nuclear diagnostics, computed tomography, coronary angiography are widely used. Modern pre-clinical diagnostics, forecasting is the key to effective prevention and adequate treatment.

Keywords: coronary heart disease, acute myocardial infarction, acute coronary syndrome, unstable angina.
