The role of metabolic changes in the genesis of cardiovascular changes in children with iron deficiency anemia
Authors studied the relationship of metabolic disorders and functional state of the cardiovascular system in 54 patients suffering from iron deficiency anemia. They proved negative impact of metabolic disorders caused by hemic hypoxia sideropenia and decreased activity of enzymes of energy metabolism in the cardiovascular system in this category of children.
