Authors give clinic investigation of tabes dorsalis in 46 years old patient, initiated in the result of diagnostic mistake. It pays attention on based causes of late stages of syphilis including neurosyphilis which are ill-timed diagnostics, self-treatment, therapy by nonprofessional physicians, uncontrolled sale of antibiotics.
