Modern methods of treatment of ureteral stones

Different variants of the treatment of patients with ureteral stones, depending on size, location stone and attacks of pyelonephritis presented in article. Criterias of treatment efficiency by ureterolitiasis ranging from conservative therapy to lithotripsy, open surgery, laparoscopic and retroperitoneoscopic ureterolithotomy has shown.
The reviews indicated that treatment of patients with large ureter stones, despite of widespread use of lithotripsy, contact ureterolithotripsy, traditional methods are pushed by video endoscope ones. Use of contact ureterolithotripsy of such patients efficiently in hospitals provided with enough equipment and personnel.
