Optimization of treatment of respiratory distress syndrome in adults
The article presents the results of a study of 36 patients with severe combined craniocerebral trauma complicated by respiratory distress syndrome in adults (RDS).
Based on the complexity of the pathogenesis of RDS for its treatment requires a complex set of therapeutic measures, including mechanical ventilation, infusion-transfusion, antienzyme, hormonal, antibiotic therapies and medications that improve hemorheology.
An important element in the intensive care unit, is also a correction of water and electrolyte balance.
